About the Journal
The Bangladesh Journal of Cardiovascular Intervention (BJCI) is a peer-reviewed medical journal committed to publishing high-quality research, case studies, and reviews in the field of interventional cardiology. As the official publication of the Bangladesh Society of Cardiovascular Intervention (BSCI), BJCI aims to promote clinical excellence, procedural safety, and innovation in cardiovascular care—particularly within the Bangladesh and South Asia region.
Researchers, clinicians, and academicians are invited to contribute work that combines rigorous methodology with real-world clinical relevance in preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic cardiovascular interventions.
Aim
To disseminate cutting-edge research and clinical insights in interventional cardiology that improve patient outcomes, procedural standards, and the overall quality of cardiovascular intervention practice in Bangladesh and beyond.
Scope
BJCI welcomes submissions in (but not limited to) the following topics:
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), stenting, and revascularization
- Structural heart interventions (TAVR, mitral repair, ASD/VSD closures)
- Peripheral vascular interventions (renal, carotid, limb)
- Intravascular imaging and physiology (IVUS, OCT, FFR)

- Outcomes, registries, real-world data, comparative studies
